COVID-19 Updates: Until further notice, the Department of Fraternity and Sorority Life and the organizations within our community are conducting virtual operations.  While we are not physically on campus, our community is continuing to operate. 

To our current members, we are here for you.  If you need anything, do not hesitate to reach out to any of the FSL staff member and/or visit for Kennesaw State University updates related to the virus.  

To our future members, as of right now we are planning for our fall recruitment and intake efforts to take place as planned.  We understand things may have to look different in some ways, but our overall goal is to be able to provide you with the means to become a part of our community this fall.  We will post updates as we have them on this website and social media.  For now, please scroll to the bottom of this page to learn more about recruitment and intake, including dates and the link to register.

The Department of Fraternity & Sorority Life is committed to enriching students’ collegiate experience and fostering a community of values-based organizations through a commitment to accountability, courageous leadership, and stewardship. For over 40 years, fraternities and sororities at KSU have had a proud tradition of academic excellence, service to the community, and playing a significant role in the lives of hundreds of students and alumni.

Today, our community is comprised of 32 fraternities and sororities across four councils, including 14 culturally based organizations. There are over 2,000 members who make every organization unique and vital to our vibrant community. Though the mission and values may vary, each chapter has a rich history of promoting scholarship, service, leadership, and community.

      NPHC Convocation

      NPHC Convocation is a one-time requirement for anyone interested in joining an NPHC Fraternity or Sorority.  Our next Convocation will be held in the spring.  The date for the event as well as the date registration will be open will be available soon.

        Fall 2020 IFC Recruitment

        Interested in joining our IFC community? You are at the right place! Click here to register for IFC Fall 2020 Recruitment.         The schedule for recruitment is TENTATIVE as follows:

        • Monday, August 24th - Friday, August 28th: Tabling days in Kennesaw and Marietta

        • TBD Chapter Values: Virtual event

        • Wednesday, September 2nd - IFC Day on the Green (Kennesaw Campus)

        • Friday, September 4th, 12:00 PM - Bid Acceptance Begins: Carmichael Student Center FSL Office

        • ***TBD Chapter Hosted Events: Chapters are now permitted to host events on and off-campus to create a better recruiting environment

          ***All Recruitment events should adhere to Georgia, CDC, KSU, and Organization Guidelines depending on location.
          ***No alcohol, women, or tobacco will be permitted at IFC chapter recruitment events.
