The Department of Fraternity & Sorority Life (FSL) is committed to supporting our students and partners in response to the COVID 19 pandemic. We are continuously seeking to address the needs of our students through partnerships with each of our chapters, their inter/national organizations, and the overall Kennesaw State University community.
FSL will assist the council and chapter leaders to customize their plans for the campus, creating primarily virtual engagement opportunities while making appropriate use of campus spaces where possible. Planning for philanthropic events, community service, leadership development and community engagement are also underway. Each council is also working to assess and revise risk management practices for gatherings and events, with plans forthcoming to specifically address previously large-scale activities. All chapters are expected to adhere to CDC and University guidelines and State directives for social distancing and restricting group sizes in order to reduce the transmission of COVID19. We encourage all chapters to visit https://coronavirus.kennesaw.edu/#campusevents as they navigate planning their fall calendars.
To our current members, we are here for you. If you need anything, do not hesitate to reach out to any of the FSL staff member.
To our future members, we understand recruitment and intake will look different in many ways, but our overall goal is to be able to provide you with the means to become a part of our community this fall. Each of our organizations are expected to revise their membership selection practices and, where possible, provide virtual alternatives for recruitment and intake activities.
We will post updates as we have them on this website and social media.
